1. Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using NOLO, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use NOLO on behalf of a company, client, firm or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms and to submit any relevant content for processing.
2. What NOLO provides
NOLO provides access to AI-assisted chat, document and image analysis, web search, live data tools, image generation and editing, presentation/export features, local browser storage, paid plans and an Android APK.
NOLO may change, improve, limit, suspend or remove features at any time, especially where needed for security, cost control, legal compliance, provider availability or product quality.
3. Access, anonymous identity and responsibility
NOLO is designed to work without mandatory accounts. The app may use an anonymous browser identifier to provide usage limits, plan access, subscriptions and abuse prevention.
- You are responsible for your device, browser profile, APK installation and local data.
- If you clear browser storage or lose your anonymous identifier, NOLO may not be able to recover history or link prior access.
- You must not share paid access in a way that avoids limits, billing or intended plan restrictions.
4. Professional, legal, financial and regulated use
NOLO may be useful for lawyers, consultants, founders, analysts and other professionals, but it is not a law firm, attorney, accountant, tax adviser, financial adviser, doctor or regulated professional service.
- NOLO does not provide legal, medical, tax, financial or professional advice.
- Using NOLO does not create an attorney-client relationship, professional engagement, fiduciary relationship or privilege between you and NOLO.
- You are responsible for reviewing outputs, verifying sources, applying professional judgment and complying with duties to clients, courts, regulators, employers and other third parties.
- Do not use NOLO as the sole basis for decisions with legal, financial, medical, safety, employment, immigration, housing, credit, insurance or other significant effects.
5. Your content, files and AI outputs
Your inputs
You retain ownership of content you submit, upload or create through NOLO. You grant NOLO the limited right to process that content as necessary to provide the service, including sending it to relevant AI, hosting, search, image, payment or infrastructure providers.
AI outputs
Subject to applicable law and provider restrictions, you may use outputs generated for you. NOLO does not guarantee that outputs are accurate, unique, non-infringing, complete, suitable for your purpose or free from confidential, biased, unsafe or outdated material.
Files and exports
When NOLO creates presentations, documents, images, summaries or other exports, you are responsible for reviewing the file before using, publishing, filing, sending to clients or relying on it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use NOLO to:
- Violate any law, regulation, court order, contract or third-party right.
- Upload or process content you are not authorized to use or share.
- Generate malware, credential theft, phishing, spam, evasion instructions or harmful cyber content.
- Create fraud, scams, impersonation, deceptive synthetic media or misleading evidence.
- Harass, threaten, exploit, sexually abuse or endanger any person, including minors.
- Generate illegal hate, extremist, violent or non-consensual sexual content.
- Bypass rate limits, reverse engineer access controls, scrape the service or run automated bulk usage without written permission.
- Use NOLO in a way that overloads infrastructure, damages service quality or creates disproportionate cost.
NOLO may limit, suspend or block access where use appears abusive, unsafe, unlawful, fraudulent or materially harmful to the service.
7. Plans, billing, subscriptions and refunds

- Billing provider: Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. NOLO does not store card details.
- Renewal: Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancellation: You may cancel through the billing portal or by contacting support. Access usually continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly approved by NOLO. Statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
- Usage limits: Plans include daily or periodic limits. More expensive tools may consume more of your allowance to keep the service sustainable.
- Price changes: NOLO may change prices or limits prospectively. Material subscription changes will be communicated where required.
8. Availability, provider dependencies and beta features
NOLO relies on third-party AI, search, image, payment, hosting and data services. Features may fail, slow down, return errors, change behavior or become unavailable due to provider outages, rate limits, safety filters, policy changes or network issues.
Some features, including file exports, presentations, image editing, long-document processing and experimental tools, may be beta or under active development. They are provided as available and may not always produce perfect results.
9. Android APK
NOLO may provide an Android APK for direct installation. You are responsible for downloading it from the official link, maintaining your device security settings and deciding whether direct APK installation is appropriate for you.
The APK may behave differently depending on Android version, browser engine, system permissions, storage rules and device settings. Updates may require manual installation unless an update mechanism is provided.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
NOLO is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOLO disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NOLO will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of goodwill, professional negligence by you, or decisions made based on AI outputs.
Where liability cannot be excluded, NOLO's aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid to NOLO in the 30 days before the claim or EUR 20, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Governing law, complaints and changes
These terms are governed by Romanian law and applicable European Union law, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country provide otherwise.
If a dispute arises, contact nolo.ai.app@gmail.com first so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot waive under applicable law.
NOLO may update these terms from time to time. The updated date at the top will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
